A single “top-up” Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) session is designed to refresh and maintain the appearance of your existing SMP treatment. Over time, the pigments can fade slightly due to natural skin exfoliation and sun exposure, so this session helps to restore vibrancy and density, ensuring your look stays sharp and natural. Here’s what to expect:

### **Consultation and Assessment**
The session begins with the practitioner assessing your current SMP. They will evaluate the areas where the pigment has faded or where the density may need enhancing. Together, you’ll discuss any adjustments to the hairline or colour that you might want to make during this touch-up.

### **Pigment Application**
In this session, our practitioner uses a top quality needle to apply new pigment to areas where fading has occurred. The process is similar to the initial SMP treatment, but usually quicker since the foundation is already in place. Our practitioner may adjust the pigment shade slightly to account for any changes in your hair or skin tone since your original treatment.

### **Refining the Hairline and Density**
A top-up session is a great opportunity to refine your hairline or enhance areas that need more density. The focus is on blending new pigment seamlessly with the existing work, restoring its crisp, freshly-done appearance. This ensures the overall look remains natural and consistent.
